Dipenjara Hatimu "cover & chord"

Meninggalkan ku sendiri
Mungkinkah kau sudah ada
Insan yang lain

Kau berubah tanpa ku sedari
Mungkinkah diriku ini yang tak memahami
Ataupun hatimu itu
Tak menyayangi diriku
Apakah puncanya di antara kita

Dm,G,C,F
Ku berserah kepada illahi
Ku terima dengan rela hati
Ku berdoa agar kau bahgia
Aku redha tanpa rasa hiba

Dm,F,E,Am
Meneruskan hidup
Jalan nan berliku
Semangatku
Dipenjara hatimu

Ku berserah kepada illahi
Ku terima dengan rela hati
Ku berdoa agar kau bahgia
Aku redha tanpa rasa hiba

Meneruskan hidup
Jalan nan berliku
Semangatku
Dipenjara hatimu

Am,Dm,G,C,F,Dm,E,Am
Kini segalanya telah berakhir
Ku mengharapkan kau terima
Dengan ikhlas hati
Agar engkau dapat memaafkan diriku
Ku mengucapkan selamat tinggal oh kasih
Ku mengucapkan selamat tinggal oh kasih

Invest in what you know...

This is what Warren Buffet lived by.... invest in what you know. And at a time when the world was all about the dotcom success, he stayed away because he said he did not understand its dynamics. So, when the dotcom bubble burst in the 90s, he was not one of those casualties... Good advice; invest in what you know.

My idea of good investments.. these are few from many.

Family. They are pillars of our society. There are our pillars. Who do you call when you are in trouble? Yup! Your family! If the fabric of families start to tear, I guess the society would too. It already is. More single moms/dads. More children out wedlock. More teenage parents. We're so technologically superior compared to the previous generation but the values somehow have gone into regression. Family members drift apart now... children abandon parents, parents abandon children. And the permissiveness of the society also sees more and more opting for the open lifestyle.... live together, no ties.... but these days... it's a real challenge. To build a family, too many of everything and too little of time.

Children. They are our future. Kids are a joy to have... But they are major responsibilities.. Time is something we have very little with them. And before we know it, they're all grown up. They are our hope.. we pass our batons to them. But these days... with everyone so busy, we see so little of each other. It used to be only the dads were busy... these days, the moms are too and the children sometimes lead a life more packed than their parents. We squeeze in as many cramming sessions as possible to ensure that they enter the best schools, the best universities.... Korea and Japan have taken it to new heights but I think we're not that far behind. So, where are our kids heading??

Education is the greatest eradicator of many things... ignorance, poverty just to name a few. Invest in a good education. This is sadly lost on the younger generation now. But if you picked any one of them and asked them, they'd probably agree with you that education is a good investment. However, when it comes down to actually getting down to it.... they're quite lost. Education is not just about the A(s). It's also about the skills you pick up along the way... it's also about the values as well. It's about lifelong learning... the love for knowledge, the quest for betterment... But in the chase for the academic glory, most of these are pushed in to the background... sometimes you see a bit of them, other times they just fade away, overshadowed by the A(s)....

Faith. They are the lighthouse of our lives, without which we'll be lost. Faith is also like that little compass that points us to the right direction; it steers us back onto the path when we go sesat. And heaven is where our treasures are laid.

But today, there're two extremes which we're seeing... on one end we've droves of people abandoning it, believing in their own sufficiency. On the other hand, we see those who seem more pious but are so bogged down by their hypocrisy.

But I believe investing in faith is investing in eternity.. this is perhaps the most important investment of all cos investing in the soul is the surest thing of all.

So, investment... a good investment is investing in what you know. And I believe these are good investments.

Politics Comedy

I found this story on my teacher's blog.."totally copy"..

KBKK (Kemahiran Berfikir Secara Kritis & Kreatif) .. supposedly one of the skills we teachers are to instill in our students... Critical and Creative Thinking Skill. I had such a good laugh over this... creative writing? This surely counts as one, very satirical... ha! ha!
Photobucket
And BULL'S EYE!!!

Ahmad: Hey son, who were you talking to?
Son : My fairy godmother.
Ahmad: How many times have I told you there is no such thing as a fairy godmother?
Son : I know but there really is a fairy godmother, Dad.
Ahmad: Okay, call her here now. I would like to talk to her.
Son : But she won’t come Dad. She said she doesn’t want to meet you.
Ahmad: Did she tell you why?
Son : She said that you are a bad man. You betray your Chinese friends by calling them Pendatangs.
Ahmad: You saw that news on TV, didn’t you?
Son : No, I didn’t, the fairy godmother told me.
Ahmad: Well, your fairy godmother is wrong. She should thank me for calling the Chinese Pendatangs.
Son: Why Dad?
Ahmad: You see son, the Chinese are actually bad people. They come from another country and they want to chase us out of this country.
Son: Why do they want to do that Dad?
Ahmad: Because they are greedy. Now, you tell your fairy godmother that your Dad is right by doing what he did. Can your fairy godmother grant you wishes?
Son: Yes Dad, she told me so. She even asked me to make a wish but I didn’t know what to ask for.
Ahmad: Well, ask your fairy godmother to make all these Pendatangs to disappear and go back to their grandparents country of origin. Okay son, time for bed. No more talking to make belief fairy godmothers, okay? Good night son.
Son: Good night Dad.
*15 minutes later*
Ahmad: SON, SON, where are you? Where are you? Huh, there you are. I am so worried, I thought I’d never find you.
Son: Dad, where are we….. India? Why are we here? I was talking to my fairy godmother on your wish and suddenly we are here in a strange place.
Ahmad: Err, what were you talking to the fairy godmother?
Son: I told her, I wish all the Pendatangs would be sent back to where they come from. Is that Tun Dr Mahathir s/o Iskandar Kutty and Uncle Samy there selling roti???? Dad, is this India??? Badawi in China …. Najib in Acheh rebuilding the home….. Khir Toyo busy tending his farm in Indonesia …. Syed Albar and the rest of Arab SYED’s clan riding his camel in Yemen ’s Arab desert.
Indonesia population increases by 18 million while Malaysia population shrink back to 10 million in 15 minutes!!!
Those descendants with more than 3 generation remained in Malaysia .
180 years….. 6 generations : Tun Tan Cheng Lock’s descendants.
So for all those who walk that high ground and talk about racial purity or lordship of a certain race or even being the sons of the soil (anyway, all of us are 'sons and daughters' of the soil - from dust you come, to dust you will return..Ecc 3:20Gen 3:19 ).... think again! Not too long ago, in a land calledThe Third Reich, there was one mad leader who wanted a land of pure breeds.... and he plunged not just his land but the whole world into his spiraling madness.

BTW, in order to have 'pure breeds' there must be 3 generations free of any mixing with any other race. Hence, Tun Tan Cheng Lock's descendants qualify... LOL!

Qeustions and answers

Assalamua’laikum, apa khabar smua? i hope u’re great. Btw, dh lama syahmie tak post dalam blog nih..Entah lar dengan kerja lagi, assgmnt lagi, training gitar lagi. Maklumlah orang baru first time nak belajar gitar. So far so good ar.
